Strackaline To Showcase Revolutionary Hole Location Software At Golf Industry Show
Golf’s Leading Technology Company will be in Booth 4601
StrackaLine, one of golf’s most innovative companies, will be showcasing its recently released Hole Location (HoLo) at the Golf Industry Show in San Diego February 2-7. The show caters to course owners and superintendents, among other industry professionals, and StrackaLine will be in booth 4601.
StrackaLine is most known for its best-in-the-game greens guides, which are used at golf’s highest levels, but the company’s recently released HoLo software has caught the attention of superintendents across the country.
Among the software’s many features are:
- Ability to auto-generate a roster of hole locations based on custom criteria, such as maximum slope percentage and minimum edge clearance, eliminating complaints about “bad” or “unfair” hole locations.
- Courses have the ability to pause or skip certain hole locations.
- Easy-to-use pin sheets make cutting cups more efficient and accurate.
- Custom pin sheets for regular and tournament play.
- Online software for hole location selection.
- Save hole location history for future reference.
“The reaction to our new Hole Location software has been phenomenal,” said Jim Stracka, president of StrackaLine. “The software makes a golf course superintendent’s job a little easier, taking the stress out of picking hole locations, and it improves pace of play by eliminating mistakes in the hole selection process.”
StrackaLine will laser scan a course for $1,500, and the scanning process, which is unobtrusive to the golfer experience, takes just five hours to complete. StrackaLine’s state-of-the-art laser scanner collects millions of data points, allowing the company to create greens maps that are accurate down to the millimeter.
After scanning a course, StrackaLine provides the facility with the CAD files and its Tour-quality greens guides for sale.
