SAN DIEGO, Calif. — “StrackaLine is a key player in the implementation of technology to improve the overall golf experience for golfers around the world”, said GSGA Managing Director Jeff Fages. “We wanted to make sure that the GSGA members would be able to take advantage of some of the innovative products offered by StrackaLine”, added Jeff.
StrackaLine, has partnered with the GSGA to offer its members greens/yardage books and hole location sheets to the USGA qualifying sites and state championships on the GSGA’s 2020 schedule of competitions.
The GSGA will distribute the StrackaLine hole location sheets at all the upcoming events and has given its members access to purchase yardage books from StrackaLine.
“The GSGA is a key state golf association and we are pleased to be working with their staff to elevate their members playing experience”, said StrackaLine president Jim Stracka. “Our software helps keep the hole location experience fresh and our yardage books benefit players at all levels of the game.”
The quality and accuracy of StrackaLine’s greens guides have led to widespread adoption on the PGA, LPGA, Symetra and Web.com tours, in addition to their use by more than 300 Division I college teams. StrackaLine scans courses for $1,500 and that includes 100 greens guides for resale. The scanning process takes five hours to complete and is unobtrusive to the golfer experience.
The greens maps, which feature easy to read arrows, allow players to view contour and fall lines, in addition to slope percentage, anywhere on the green.
