To supply yardage Books for the 2020 Texas Amateur Tournament at Boot Ranch from August 6th through August 9th
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — StrackaLine, maker of golf’s premier greens guides and yardage books, is the exclusive supplier of yardage books for the 111th Texas Amateur Tournament at Boot Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas. The field includes 132 players who earned entry through an exemption category or 18-hole sectional qualifying at one of 12 sites across Texas in the weeks leading up to the championship.
The StrackaLine yardage books will be used by the majority of the 132 competitors in the field. Boot Ranch is this year’s venue for the state’s oldest and most prestigious amateur championship from August 6th through 9th.
“We are extremely proud to support the Texas Golf Association by partnering with them to supply books for their tournaments”, said StrackaLine president Jim Stracka. “The Texas Amateur tournament is an extremely prestigious event and we are very happy that our books will be used by the field to improve their overall level of play,” added Stracka.
The quality and accuracy of StrackaLine’s greens guides & yardage books have led to widespread adoption on the PGA, LPGA, Symetra and Web.com tours, in addition to their use by more than 300 Division I college teams. StrackaLine scans courses for $1,500 and that includes 100 greens guides for resale. The scanning process takes five hours to complete and is unobtrusive to the golfer experience.
The greens maps, which feature easy to read arrows, allow players to view contour and fall lines, in addition to slope percentage, anywhere on the green.
