StrackaLine Scans Award Winning Sand Valley
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — StrackaLine, maker of golf’s premier greens guides, scanned both regulation layouts at Sand Valley in Nekoosa, WE., so that the resort could begin using Hole Location Software and selling greens guides.
Sand Valley offers two regulation courses. Sand Valley, awarded Best New Course of 2017 by Golf Digest and Mammoth Dunes, awarded Best New Golf Course of 2018 by Golf Magazine.
Both courses are utilizing StrackaLine’s Hole Location Software while visiting golfers will have access to StrackaLine’s Greens Guides. “Sand Valley is a premier facility and we are delighted to be working with their staff and guests” said StrackaLine president Jim Stracka. “Our software helps keep the hole location experience fresh and our greens guides benefit players at all levels of the game.”
The quality and accuracy of StrackaLine’s greens guides have led to widespread adoption on the PGA, LPGA, Symetra and Web.com tours, in addition to their use by more than 300 Division I college teams. StrackaLine scans courses for $1,500 and that includes 100 greens guides for resale. The scanning process takes five hours to complete and is unobtrusive to the golfer experience.
The greens maps, which feature easy to read arrows, allow players to view contour and fall lines, in addition to slope percentage, anywhere on the green.
