StrackaLine Becomes a Corporate Partner of the International Association of Golf Administrators
StrackaLine has become a corporate partner of the International Association of Golf Administrators. As part of the three-year agreement, StrackaLine will be able to market its course setup technology to IAGA members.
Among the services StrackaLine provides are:
- Slope maps of greens for hole location selection at host courses.
- Database of hole locations for past and future events.
- Variety of hole location sheets to enhance the golfer experience.
Players in IAGA events will also have access to StrackaLine’s professional greens guides and yardage books, ensuring golfers have the same technology players on all the game’s major tours are using.
“IAGA members host thousands of events each year, and I’m excited to help them run their tournaments as efficiently as possible,” said StrackaLine president Jim Stracka. “Our technology can benefit courses and golfers in a variety of ways, and our partnership with IAGA will showcase StrackaLine’s versatility.”
“We are pleased to welcome StrackaLine to the IAGA organization,” said Bill Walker, the Executive Director of the IAGA. “As the former Executive Director of Utah Golf Association, I feel that StrackaLine’s technology can assist in association championship administration as well as provide a service for association member clubs and golfers in general.”
The quality and accuracy of StrackaLine’s greens guides have led to widespread adoption on the PGA, LPGA, Symetra and Web.com tours, in addition to their use by more than 300 Division I college teams.
StrackaLine now has 900+ courses scanned, including some of the nation’s most prominent layouts. Use of the greens guides at all levels of the game has surged, and the company now counts nearly every Division I golf program among its users.
The greens maps, which feature easy to read arrows, allow players to view contour and fall lines, in addition to slope percentage, anywhere on the green.
