Streamsong Blue and Streamsong Red to serve as the backdrop for historical event
STREAMSONG, FLORIDA — Streamsong Resort® will be playing host to the 104th Florida State Amateur Championship. The Championship, which will feature 72 holes of gross stroke play, is set to take place June 24 – 27, 2021. The event will be played at Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue, the Coore/Crenshaw and Tom Doak – designed courses ranked sixteenth and twenty-third respectively in Golfweek’s Top 100 You Can Play.
The Florida State Amateur Championship is one of the oldest and most prestigious amateur golf championships in the country. “The Florida State Amateur Championship is one of the most widely respected amateur events in the country, and we could not be more excited to have Streamsong serve as host to these incredible players,” said Scott Willson, director of golf at Streamsong. “Our award-winning courses were designed for events like this, and with the new greens on Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue in pristine condition, we cannot wait to showcase this venue in what is sure to be a memorable event.”
Streamsong is home to Florida’s highest-rated collection of golf courses and the only destination in the world with the architecture work of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw (Streamsong Red), Tom Doak (Streamsong Blue), and Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner (Streamsong Black).
