New York, – Summit Golf Brands is pleased to announce strategic promotions within its Sales Leadership Team, further solidifying its commitment to excellence and innovation in the golf apparel industry. Brendan McHugh and Matt McFarlane have been appointed as Senior Vice Presidents of Sales and Co-Heads of the Americas for esteemed brands Zero Restriction, Fairway & Greene, and B. Draddy within the wholesale division. In their new roles, they will directly manage the sales organization across North America, and lead cross-functional collaborations to drive brand development and product assortment enhancements. McHugh and McFarlane will continue reporting directly to Jack Lessing, Executive Vice President & Global Head of Sales at Summit Golf Brands.
Jack Lessing, EVP Global Head of Sales, expressed his excitement about the promotions, stating, “Brendan and Matt are world-class at what they do, and their successes stretch far beyond sales growth. Since joining the company in early 2012, Brendan McHugh has succeeded at every role and responsibility he’s had while building long-standing relationships with wholesale partners nationwide. Brendan has been integral to many of Summit’s most visible partnerships with leading sports organizations such as the PGA Tour, New York Giants, PGA Of America, LPGA, and the Met Golf Association. In addition to over-seeing a large portion of Summit’s green-grass sales team, he also manages the company’s Corporate and Collegiate divisions. Prior to joining Summit, McHugh worked for renowned golf professional, Brendan Walsh, The Country Club at Brookline and he remains a PGA Member to this day.
Matt McFarlane joined Summit Golf Brands in 2017 as a regional manager of the Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas. Shortly thereafter, McFarlane was promoted to VP of Sales and added the Midwest and West Coast to his territory under management. Similarly to McHugh, McFarlane has excelled as a player-coach managing a growing team of Account Executives and covering key accounts across the country. McFarlane has spearheaded numerous transformational wholesale partnerships, as well, with long-standing and new partners such as Pebble Beach Golf Resort, TaylorMade, Dormie Network, and the Navy Seal Foundation. Prior to joining Summit, McFarlane had twelve years of experience in the golf apparel sales business and over six years working as a golf club professional.
Additionally, Lisa Brigham, who previously served as the National Sales Manager for Summit’s brand EP New York, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales for EP New York. With over twenty years of experience in both sales and leadership roles within the ladies’ apparel industry, Brigham has been a dedicated steward of the EP New York brand for over a year. In her new role, she will continue to oversee the domestic wholesale sales organization for EP New York while collaborating closely with other members of the sales leadership team on company-wide initiatives.
The company’s Senior Sales Team now comprises Jack Lessing (EVP), Brendan McHugh (SVP), Matt McFarlane (SVP), Lisa Brigham (VP), Liz Keplesky (VP of Senior Client Relationships), Brian Levengood (Senior Account Executive), and Charlie Dyche (Senior Account Executive). “As a green grass company, our wholesale partners are the lifeblood of our business.
