Summit Golf Brands Announces New Sales Leadership in Scotland, England, Wales
Summit Golf Brands (“SGB”) is pleased to announce a partnership between the company and Paul McGinley, Keith Maxwell and Caroline Flower that will enhance coverage in the United Kingdom. The partnership, effective immediately, will have McGinley and Maxwell as strategic brand partners while Flower will become the Account Executive in the territory. This partnership will further strengthen SGB’s strong presence in the UK where it has been selling product to leading clubs for over 20 years and recently became part of the merchandise tent at the Open Championship. Ireland and Northern Ireland will continue to be covered by Adrian Morrow who has grown SGB’s business in that part of the world significantly over the last 2 years.
Paul McGinley has played on The European Tour since the early 1990’s where he has enjoyed success individually as well as being part of 6 winnings European Ryder Cup Teams in various capacities from player to Vice-Captain to Captain. He became a Brand Ambassador for SGB last year and has been a long-time friend of the company. Paul currently divides his time between playing a limited schedule on the Seniors Tour, a lead golf analyst on Sky Sports and numerous business roles including a member of the European Ryder Cup Committee.
Keith Maxwell is a Fellow of the PGA who began his career in 1973 in the southwest of Scotland. In 1984, Keith became only the 7th Head Professional at legendary Sunningdale, which opened in 1900, where he held that position for 33 years. During his career, Keith helped many people, from all walks of life, in their quest to become better golfers. He also carefully selected and developed some of the country’s most talented young professionals who themselves have gone on to prestigious head professional positions at clubs on 4 continents.
Caroline Flower has over 18 years of experience working within the golf industry where she is well known throughout the British Isles. In addition to sales experience, Caroline has design and manufacturing experience with her own line, Arlington Wallace.
