SAN DIEGO, CA – Sunday Golf, the fastest growing golf bag manufacturer, is looking to add a National Sales Manager to join the company’s accomplished sales team. Ideal candidates have strong background in wholesale management, are passionate about golf, and are eager to take on a new challenge with a high-growth CPG brand. The company will be looking to formally hire a candidate by the end of the month.
“As our wholesale demand exponentially increases, we’re actively seeking a seasoned and skilled sales manager to spearhead all aspects of our core channels,” said Ronan Galvin, CEO and co-founder of Sunday Golf. “This person will oversee day-to-day operations of our wholesale business, work intimately with our current sales reps and continue growing our existing green grass and off course accounts. We’re looking forward to adding a new team member who matches our drive and passion for casual, fun golf.”
Since launching in 2020, Sunday Golf has sold over 100,000 bags and has seen 40% year-over-year growth. The company’s products are widely available in major golf retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, PGA Tour Superstore, Worldwide Golf Shops and Scheels.
The company’s current crowdfunding campaign has also generated over $1M in public investment since launching in July. Investors will receive portions of equity in exchange for investing and the capital will be used to bolster the sales and marketing teams, increase inventory and amplify product development.
Sunday Golf first burst on the scene with the category creating Loma bag, a minimalist-designed golf bag designed for par 3 courses, walking rounds and driving range practice sessions. It weighs less than two pounds and carries six clubs. Sunday Golf’s lineup of lightweight golf bags also includes the newly launched midsize Loma XL and El Camino bags along with the most recent full-sized Ryder 23 bag.
