World-renowned coach and speaker will become fitness professional for SuperSpeed App
TULSA, OK – SuperSpeed Golf, the golf training aid company specializing in speed training, is pleased to announce a partnership with Rotational Strength & Conditioning Specialist Jason Glass that will make him the featured fitness professional of the SuperSpeed App.
Planned to launch in late summer 2024, the SuperSpeed app will feature new protocols and physical training programs designed by Glass, including ground reaction forces, sequencing, wrist mechanics, ball speed application, and advanced speed activation.
“Jason has built a reputation as one of the authorities in strength and conditioning, training and speaking, and we are excited to partner with him to bring his expertise to all SuperSpeed users,” said Michael Napoleon, President of SuperSpeed Golf. “Professional sports organizations and athletes trust his abilities and lessons, and we are proud to bring the same level of expertise to our protocols and app.”
A highly sought-after consultant, Glass works with teams and professional athletes across various sports, including the PGA TOUR, NFL and NHL, and he leads the Titleist Performance Institute’s Fitness Advisory Board. Glass owns and operates Tour Performance Lab and Kinetica Golf Performance, which specialize in biomechanics, physical assessments, and functional strength training.
The accomplished public speaker has delivered presentations worldwide on golf conditioning, functional training, corrective exercise progressions, and creating rotary power for athletes. In addition, Glass hosts the highly acclaimed Coach Glass Podcast on iTunes where he shares his insights on performance training, and outlets including Golf Channel, Golf Canada Magazine and CBC Sports have featured him and his work.
Glass holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
The SuperSpeed app will also have a premium version that will expand the current repertoire of training content by adding more than 20 new protocols and offer a self-assessment of the player’s golf-specific fitness, power generation strategies, and mechanical tendencies. The app will use advanced AI to make optimal training recommendations based on the results of this assessment, and it will feature a direct feed to upload swing videos and ask questions about training to the SuperSpeed team.
Available on both iOS and Android, the SuperSpeed app will be available in the late summer 2024. For more information on the SuperSpeed App, click here.
