All Three FedEx Cup Playoff Events Won by SuperStroke Users
Wixom, MI – SuperStroke – the leading manufacturer of high-performance golf grips – confirms its Traxion Pistol GT Tour putter grip was used by Rory McIlroy during his victory at the Tour Championship contested at East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Ga.
The 33-year-old champion relied on the exceptional feel and stability of the popular SuperStroke model to record a dramatic one-shot victory in the season ending event. Starting Sunday’s final round six-shots back, McIlroy fired a final round 4-under-par 66 to capture his third win of the season and become the first person to win the FedEx Cup three times.
In addition to McIlroy, six of the top 10 finishers used SuperStroke grips including SuperStroke ambassadors Sung-jae Im and Patrick Cantlay. Golfers using SuperStroke grips have won every FedEx Cup Playoff event in 2022.
“It’s always exciting to see a historic win in golf, and our hats are off to Rory McIlroy for achieving something that’s never been done before,” said Dean Dingman, CEO of SuperStroke. “It’s a source of pride to know that SuperStroke was able to play a small part in this victory, and to know that so many of the world’s greatest players counted on SuperStroke in this moment as well.”

All three sizes offer Traxion™ Control, Sypne Technology, and Tech-Port to enhance feel, alignment, and back-weighting options.
One of the most trusted brands on all major tours around the world, SuperStroke’s team of ambassadors includes three-time major champion Jordan Spieth, 2021 PGA Tour Player of the Year Patrick Cantlay, former PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Sung-jae Im and world-renowned putting coach Phil Kenyon.
