Multiple champions choosing SuperStroke grips for dominating performances
Three players found their way to the top of the leaderboard with dominating wins shooting 2, 3 and 4 shots ahead of their runner up.
At the PGA Tour Northern Trust Open, the champion dominated the field finishing 2 shots ahead of any other player that day. Using his SuperStroke Flatso 17” Tour, he made a statement Sunday, beginning his round with two back to back birdies, resulting in a weekend at 18 under. A tie for third at -13 was another SuperStroke player, using the Pistol GT Tour.
At the LPGA CP Women’s Open, a second SuperStroke champion made headlines shooting an impressive 21 under for the weekend – four shots ahead of the runner up. Using the Pistol GT, she became the first Canadian to win the national championship in 45 years, and only the second to ever win.
At the PGA Tour Champions Boeing Classic, a third SuperStroke champion dominated the field shooting 18 under, three above the runner up. Using the SuperStroke JP100, the champion started Sunday at 5 behind the leader. In just 9 holes, he made quickly made it up shooting 7 birdies – a course record for the 9 holes. He would go on to shoot three more birdies resulting in 9 under for the day, and a win.
