Veteran Golf Industry Executive Brings Over Three Decades of Expertise to Strengthen Vendor Education and Partnerships
Rocklin, CA – The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) proudly announces the appointment of Susan Shade, Executive Vice President of Golf Sales for Tharanco Lifestyles, to the AGM Vendor Advisory Board. Shade brings a wealth of experience and industry insight, enhancing AGM’s commitment to excellence in golf retail merchandising.
With over 30 years of professional management in the apparel, golf, fitness, and e-commerce industries, Susan Shade’s extensive background includes leadership roles at TGW.com, Golfsmith, Callaway, Tommy Hilfiger, Tehàma, and Izod. Her expertise in sales growth, merchandising strategy, and brand development makes her an invaluable addition to AGM’s Vendor Advisory Board, which is instrumental in shaping the future of golf merchandising.
In her current role at Tharanco Lifestyles, Shade oversees the golf division, which includes renowned brands such as Dunning Golf, GN Collection, and Tourney. Tharanco Lifestyles, established in 2009 by industry veterans Haresh Tharani and Michael Setola, has been a driving force in apparel sourcing and brand development, distributing the Greg Norman Collection to over 50 countries worldwide. The company’s other notable brands, Dunning Golf, Tourney, and Nick Graham Clothing, further cement its status as a leader in the global market.

At Fletcher Leisure Group, she successfully launched Tommy Hilfiger Golf into the U.S. and European markets. Her experience managing multi-million-dollar P&L accounts and launching successful private-label initiatives will be key in her role with AGM.
