Precision Milled Putters Will Be Available at 11AM CT on August 4 at SwagGolf.com
Chicago, IL – August 3, 2022 – It’s often said that one of the hardest things in sports to do is repeat a championship, and that’s exactly what golf superstar Anna Nordqvist will be trying to do at the AIG Women’s Open in Scotland this weekend. Swag Golf, the premium, limited-edition golf equipment, accessory, and apparel company, is commemorating Nordqvist’s 2021 Championship with the drop of limited-quantity replicas of the putter she used to capture last year’s title. Available at SwagGolf.com, the tour range putter will be available August 4 at 11am CT.
The putters are Swag’s popular Handsome Too model and feature signature Swag style including the company’s Don’t Give A PuttTM tag on the sole and the iconic Swag skull on the face. Each putter is finished with a teal paint fill (Nordqvist’s favorite color), a P-Series LAGP shaft, a Swag branded Iomic grip with teal blue accents, and matching headcover. Fans will also be able to snag an additional headcover to complete the Nordqvist suite of products. As with all Swag drops, limited means limited; the company has only made 33 of these putters, so fans will need to act fast.
“Anna has been a longtime friend of Swag and a natural choice as an ambassador for our team. She fearlessly brings her talent and style to the course which has undeniably brought her hard-earned and much deserved recognition and success,” said Nick Venson, founder and CEO of Swag Golf. “We’re always thrilled to be a small part of her journey and we wanted to create a putter that pays homage to Anna specifically, matching a high-end, sleek look with superior craftsmanship. We know fans will love it.”
Prior to linking up with Swag and adopting the Handsome Too into her club set, Nordqvist used to switch putters as often as every 2-3 months – an astounding rate for professional golfers. Swag’s Handsome Too has been her staple putter for nearly two years now and was the putter she used to capture her title in 2021.
For the start of the 2022 season, Swag outfitted Nordqvist with some fresh designs. In addition to the teal colorways in the Handsome Too for this year, Nordqvist recently debuted a new bright teal Swag bag on the tour, which features pink and blue Swag skulls, replacing her neon-yellow signature Swag bag from the 2021 tour.
The limited-edition Anna Nordqvist replica Handsome Too Swag putters are just the latest offering from the company’s 2022 stock putter line-up, which includes classic tour-proven designs with a model for every type of golfer. Each putter is made in the USA, hand-finished and comes with a matching made in the USA headcover with magnet closures and the softest available furs on the market to ensure protection.
Since 2018, Swag has gained a reputation for producing some of the most sought-after merchandise in the golf world – with putters, headcovers and more often selling out in mere minutes after they drop on the website. Nordqvist is one of several ambassadors that are a part of the Swag family, which also includes Instagram sensation Paige Spiranac, skateboarding icon Eric Koston and NHL player Alex DeBrincat.
