Multi-Year Licensing Partnership Will Include Collaborative Products and Experiences for Both F1 and Golf Fans
Chicago – Swag Golf and McLaren Racing announced today a multi-year licensing agreement to create McLaren branded golf putters, headcovers and accessories. Swag is celebrating the news with its initial product drop, which will include Miami-themed McLaren designs on headcovers, ballmarkers, and one of Swag’s signature putters. Designed to commemorate the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, F1 fans, golf enthusiasts and everyone in between can try to snag their own Swag when the product drops on May 4th in anticipation of the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday May 8th.
“It’s impossible to think of Formula 1 racing and not think of the iconic McLaren Racing team. We’re excited to expand our Swag style to visually capture the characteristics of McLaren’s F1 fan base through limited products and fan engagements throughout the Formula 1 season,” said Nick Venson, founder and chief executive officer, Swag Golf.
The partnership kicks off the week of May 2nd with Miami Grand Prix McLaren-inspired headcovers, accessories and equipment, with plans to drop freshly-designed lines in advance of select Formula 1 races throughout the season. As with all Swag products, quantities are limited and sell-outs typically occur in minutes, if not seconds. Once sold-out, the custom designs will retire to Swag’s archive, never to be produced again.
