HARTFORD –  SwingU, the golf technology and media company, would like to congratulate SwingU Academies client Nick Bova for being recognized by the PGA of America New Jersey Section as the 2020 Teacher of the Year.

Prior to receiving the 2020 Teacher of the Year Award, Nick was ranked as one of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in New Jersey. He is also an accomplished player. Nick was a 3-time All-American at Division III Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.

Currently the Director of Instruction at Hamilton Farm Golf Club and a TaylorMade staffer, Bova won the 2018 Clambake Invitational and Fall Finale, two of the New Jersey PGA Section’s major tournaments. He also qualified for the 2011, 2019, 2020 and 2021 PGA Professional Championship.

Nick brings a refreshing style of teaching to the Metropolitan area. He is one of four George Gankas Golf Coaches in the country and the only one located on the East Coast. He is also a U.S. Kids certified instructor and a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Earlier this summer, Nick launched his Nick Bova Golf Newsletter in partnership with SwingU Academies. Every week, Nick keeps in touch with his database of students via instruction and drill videos, deals and discounts on equipment and training aids as well as giving students a one-click opportunity to book in-person lessons.

Later this fall, Nick will take his business to another level with the launch of the Nick Bova Golf Golf app, which will provide students with an engaging, academy-like experience.
