HARTFORD  – SwingU, the sports technology and media company, would like to congratulate SwingU Versus Ambassadors Austin Hitt and Jacob Bridgeman for earning full status on the PGA Tour Canada in 2022.

Hitt, a first-year pro out of the University of North Carolina who started using SwingU Versus in June to track his stats and guide his practice sessions, shot 22-under par with rounds of 62-72-65-67 (266) at Mission Inn Resort & Club’s El Campeon Course to win his qualifier by three shots.

Bridgeman, a senior at Clemson University, started using SwingU Versus in July and shot 18-under par with rounds of 67-70-65-67 (269) at RTJ Golf Trail – Highland Oaks to win his qualifier by two shots.

As medalists at their respective qualifiers, both Hitt and Bridgeman earned full status for the 2022 season and are not subject to a reshuffle.

Four other SwingU Versus Ambassadors earned status on the PGA Tour Canada through the year’s first three Qualifying School events.

At the Alabama qualifier won by Bridgeman, both Greyson Porter (5th) and Chandler Eaton (T8) earned status through the halfway point of the season. Jonathan Hardee finished T10, one shot behind Eaton, and will have conditional status this season.

At the Florida qualifier won by Hitt, Roland Massimino finished T21 and also earned conditional status on the circuit.

Since the start of 2021, more than 100 active professional and top-tier collegiate golfers are using the SwingU App and Versus platform to track their strokes gained and game-improvement data.
