HARTFORD – SwingU, the golf technology and media company, announced today that Drexel University and head men’s coach Ben Feld have partnered with SwingU Coach to deliver advanced statistical reporting to his coaching staff and team members.
Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Drexel University is a private research university and member of NCAA Division I, competing in the Coastal Athletic Association.
Feld has been the men’s head coach since May 2016. He has taken the Dragons’ program to a new level over the past few seasons. During the 2022-23 season, the Dragons secured two team victories bringing Feld’s career total tournament wins to 14. In their win at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, Feld’s team beat 48th-ranked UNC-Greensboro, notching their second-ever win over a top-50-ranked program. The team also added its third consecutive victory at the City 6 Championship.
Two of his student-athletes were named to the PING All-Region team, and he had one student-athlete named to the CAA’s First Team and another named to the Second Team.
Feld and the Dragons implemented SwingU Coach this past fall, and proceeded to win all four of their tournament starts.
