HARTFORD – SwingU, the sports technology and media company, announced today that it has partnered with StrackaLine, producer of the green-reading books trusted by the world’s best players since 2007, to provide Green Maps to SwingU Premium subscribers.
“I am very excited to bring the StrackaLine technology to the SwingU community” says Jim Stracka, CEO of StrackaLine. “With a StrackaLine greens map, golfers can save multiple strokes per round by three putting less and making a few more of those 10 footers!”
In addition to its AI-powered digital caddie platform, top-100 teacher library of drills, and world’s easiest-to-use strokes gained platform, SwingU will now empower its golfers to “own the green” with SwingU Premium.
StrackaLine leverages its patented technology for tracking the exact slopes and breaks of a golf courses’ putting green topography. Integrated into the SwingU Premium tier, subscribers will have access to the 13,000+ courses that have been tracked and lasered by StrackaLine.
“The addition of StrackaLine Green Maps to our product further positions SwingU as the best game-improvement app on the market,” said Charles Cox, CEO of SwingU. “Along with our SwingU Versus strokes gained platform and digital caddie on-the-course features, SwingU offers golfers of all skill levels a decided advantage over their playing partners.”
StrackaLine was founded in 2007 by father and son, Jim and Chase Stracka. Starting in 2013, StrackaLine’s team of expert surveyors began canvassing the country’s golf courses to laser-scan each putting green. To date, their database includes more than 13,000 courses.
