HARTFORD – SwingU, the sports technology and media company, announced today that it has launched its SwingU Versus Tour Ambassador Program, equipping some of the best golfers in the world with an industry-leading stroke gained statistics platform.
SwingU Versus is an integrated strokes gained analysis system available to SwingU Premium subscribers that tracks and analyzes every facet of the game from tee to green.
SwingU has signed over 30 Tour player ambassadors who compete on a variety of Tours including but not limited to the LPGA Tour, LPGA Symetra Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, MacKenzie Tour and PGA Tour Latin America. Each Tour professional will carry a SwingU Versus-branded caddie towel during play.
“We believe our strokes gained analytics program Versus is best-in-class and brings valuable performance data to the golfer’s fingertips,” said Charles Cox, CEO of SwingU. “We have made the world’s easiest-to-use strokes gained platform, and we are proud to say that the best golfers in the world use our app.”
“I am loving the app so far,” said Jon Hardee, a pro on the Korn Ferry Tour. “It is helping me already, so I know exactly what to work on during my practice.”
SwingU Versus is designed to be as valuable and intuitive an experience as possible with many of the same screens and prompts golfers have come to expect from our top-rated scorecard and GPS app, but with game-improvement enhancements that will allow our algorithm to figure out how players stack up against their desired target handicap.
