The “Tribute Series” Momentum Builds!
2nd Course Design is completed for Preservation Pointe in Inverness FL
Harmony Links Golf and SIX12 Golf, sister companies in “Delivering Next Generation Golf Today” announced that the 2nd Tribute Series 6-hole golf course design has been completed for the Preservation Pointe Luxury RV Park. Featuring high-end amenities for its customers and located between downtown Inverness FL and the I-75 corridor, Preservation Pointe will provide great golf for RV travelers.
Following its initial Tribute Series announcement for the unique Grand Patrician Resort in WVA and being named “One of 5 companies to watch after the 2019 PGA Show” by Links Magazine https://www.linksmagazine.com/5-companies-to-watch-following-the-2019-pga-show/ Harmony Links Golf is proud to partner with its sister company, SIX12 Golf to deliver this 2nd Tribute Series golf course.
The two companies remain committed to “Delivering Next Generation Golf Today” which is based on improving golf’s playability and profitability! Playing golf holes inspired by the most recognizable holes in the world with perfect synthetic greens that receive shots just like your favorite greens on their best day will enable golfers and golf course owners to experience this vision. These greens will not be aerified, watered, mowed or sprayed with herbicides.
John Eden, owner of Preservation Pointe RV Park said, “We are excited to announce that our new golf amenity is being designed by SIX12 Golf. It will feature a 6-hole Par 3 Tribute Course designed after famous golf holes around the world. Terry LaGree also master-planned our luxury RV resort which will be an eco-tourism destination experience for our guests. These synthetic greens and tees fit our development philosophy perfectly and will enable us to maintain this course with a minimum of effort!”
Terry LaGree said, “I designed this unique golf course to combine the forward-thinking concepts of 6-hole loops with synthetic turf greens, tees and famous golf holes. Phase 2 will add another 6-hole loop to complete the 12-hole amenity. This concept gives golfers the option to play the amount of golf they wish in any season.
Jeff Hartson, Harmony Links co-founder continued, “SIX12 Golf is Harmony Links’ sister company formed to do designs of “The Tribute Series” and other golfing requirements such as downsizing 18-hole golf courses into 12-hole courses. It will also enable our partnering with other companies wanting to deliver on our vision who would like to do their own build of SIX12 Golf’s designs and take advantage of our decade of synthetic turf experience.”
When high handicap players have a golf event at Preservation Pointe, the forward tees and easy pin locations are used, and a simple 10-minute brooming slows the speed of each green to an 8 on the stimpmeter. Conversely, when low handicap players have an event, the greens can be rolled and speeds of 12 can be attained, coupled with difficult pin locations and back tees it is a completely different level of challenge.
