First-of-its-kind high-performance socks bring unmatched comfort and support for men and women in sizes up to 20+
Jericho, N.Y.- Tall Order—the company known for its high-quality, high-performance socks and accessories as well as its commitment to philanthropy—is bringing its unique products and vision to golf.
Tall Order will showcase its new Aaron Judge Tall Order All Sport Game Ready socks and other lines at booth #5781 at this week’s 2023 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida, January 25-27.
These new, elite performance socks were developed after Tall Order began making socks for New York Yankee Captain Aaron Judge, American League Home Run King, 2022 American League MVP, and four-time All-Star, who turned to the company when he couldn’t find others that provided support and comfort for his size 17 feet. Judge has since become an equity partner in Tall Order.
Available in low-cut, quarter-crew, and mid-calf crew styles, the socks are loaded with features, including:
- Grippers for stabilization and support
- Moisture wicking
- Mesh ventilation
- Comfort stretch
- No seams at toe
- Arch support
- Energy yarn for compression
- Cushioned heel tab so no blisters and offers extra comfort and slip protection
- Cushioned foot bed
- Soft, comfortable fit
All styles are available in sizes 9 to 20+ and suitable for men or women. For ease, the sizes are printed on the bottom of each pair. (A separate line of performance styles is also available without the grippers.)
A percentage of all Tall Order sales is donated to charities. In the past five years, the company has contributed more than $300,000 to a number of charities including the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation.
Tall Order was founded in 2017 by Lisa Friedman and her two sons, Mike and Dan. After Lisa’s husband and the boys’ father perished in the September 11, 2001, attack on the World Trade Center, the family sought to ease their pain by bringing vital supplies—including socks—to First Responders.
Two decades later, grown up—Mike is 6 feet 11 inches, Dan 6 feet 9 inches—and in the business world, both men were looking for more personal satisfaction. Specifically, a way to make a difference while creating stylish accessories for men of stature like themselves as well as products for men and women of all shapes and sizes. Along with their mother’s friend Rachel Furer, they created Tall Order—the name referring to the “tall order” it would take to pay back those who helped them in their hour of need—and with it the promise of funding charities that help children whose lives have been disrupted. They live that promise every day.
