CARLSBAD, Calif — TaylorMade Golf Company, Inc. announced today that its current financial sponsor, KPS Capital Partners has signed a definitive agreement, through an affiliate, to sell TaylorMade Golf Company, Inc., to Centroid Investment Partners, a Seoul, Korea based private equity firm. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in 1979, TaylorMade is a leading global manufacturer of golf equipment, balls, bags and accessories with a #1 or #2 market position in most of its key categories and markets.
