MIDLAND – The field is starting to take shape as tournament officials announced today several early team commitments for the 2026 Dow Championship on June 8-14 at Midland Country Club and is the sole team-based event on the LPGA Tour.
At Media Day in Midland on Tuesday, Tournament Director Wendy Traschen confirmed that the following teams will be competing:
· Somi Lee and Jin Hee Im, defending champions
· Nelly Korda, World No. 1, and Olivia Cowan
· Lydia Ko and Danielle Kang, former Dow Championship teammates in 2021, 2024, and 2025
· Alison Lee and Lilia Vu, both California natives and UCLA alumni
Additional teams will continue to be announced in the coming weeks. A total of 72 two-person teams will compete June 11-14 for a share of the $3.3 million purse.

Throughout the week, fans can enjoy a wide range of experiences for all ages, including:
· Interactive Covenant Kid’s Zone and STEM Center presented by Palmer Holland learning experiences.
· Premium hospitality venues – Eagle’s Nest and Sandtrap Social – offering an elevated tournament experience with unlimited food and beverage.
· Community-focused programming and volunteer opportunities.
· Fan favorites like Champ the mascot and autograph alley.
· Dedicated suite, presented by Kelly, for all military personnel and veterans with daily events including a pancake breakfast, chicken dinner, chair‑mobility exercise session, happy hour and ice cream sundaes.
Ticket Options:
All ticket options include tournament access, public viewing areas, concessions, and youth activities. Kids 17 and under receive free admission with a ticketed adult.
· Daily ($10) or Weekly Tickets ($25): Single-day or full-week access.
· Eagle’s Nest & Sandtrap Social Hospitality Suites ($60): Elevated tournament experience including unlimited food and beverage, and exclusive views of the tournament. Eagle’s Nest is located near Hole 17 Green while Sandtrap Social is located at Hole 12 Tee box.
· Yoga on the Green presented by MyMichigan Health ($5): A 45-minute yoga class on the green at Midland Country Club on the morning of Saturday, June 13. Ticket includes a healthy snack, branded yoga mat and general admission to the tournament for the entire day.
· Veterans Hospitality Suite presented by Kelly (Free): Complimentary weekly tickets for military personnel and veterans, including access to the Veterans Hospitality Suite, plus a free guest ticket. A valid military ID is requested at the main admissions gate.
Tournament Week Events:
· June 6: Greater Midland Dow RunWalk – Races for all ages and abilities—from beginners to seasoned runners. Events include a 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, 1‑Mile Run, and Tot Trot. Learn more at greatermidland.org/races.
· June 7: Rock the Block presented by Dow Credit Union – A free community celebration to kick off championship week in Downtown Midland from 4:00–8:00 PM, featuring live entertainment, food experiences, family activities, and adoptable animals from local nonprofits.
· June 9: First Tee Junior Clinic presented by Wilson – A free junior clinic for children ages 5–18 at Currie Golf Course. Register at www.dowchampionship.com/spectator-information.
· June 13: Special Olympics 3-Hole Challenge presented by TaylorMade – Special Olympics athletes from the Great Lakes Bay Region will participate in the Special Olympics 3-Hole Challenge at the Midland Country Club.

The Dow Championship is an official LPGA Tour event held in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region from June 8-14, 2026, at Midland Country Club in Midland, Michigan.
