Target Golf Systems and Spirit Hollow Golf Club partner to deliver “Tee box to Target” gaming experience

Golf entertainment at an affordable ROI

Target Golf Systems — formerly GlowGear Interactive — and Spirit Hollow Golf Club in Burlington, IA,  are pleased to announce the second year of the “Shankapotomus Academy” and restaurant complete with TGS interactive field targets and camera based scoring.

A brisk business has taken over this now all-season driving range and restaurant at Spirit Hollow. They launched in November 2018 with eight hitting bays outfitted with an automated camera based tee box scoring system and a field of TGS interactive range targets permanently installed —  the game is on!

“The target field is the key ingredient to launching this site and attracting clientele. And, the combination of scoring and a full field of interactive targets creates tons of positive feedback and translates into fun for the customer,” says Jim Wyffels, General Manager at Spirit Hollow.

The 30 and 40ft targets are bright enough for customers to photograph and put online, thus helping put the range in front of new customers daily.

During the day, the targets provide visual end point, like bowling alley pins,  to complement the camera tracking and scoring at the hitting bays. At night, the glowing targets respond with programmable light and sounds to create a festive experience for players and spectators.

Facilities looking to up-level their range and enter the lucrative evening golf entertainment market now have a complete package to offer through the Target Golf System, which is proven to shoulder a restaurant and bring in customers on a regular basis just like the larger facilities, but at a significantly more attractive investment price.

“The Target Golf System at Spirit Hollow is the fulfillment of a four year development process to create year-round targets that are great for training during the day with scoring zones, and light up at night with interactivity for fun, social, and competitive gaming,” says Inventor and Target Golf Systems CEO, Robert Peterson.

Today, Target Golf Systems manufactures patented, interactive targets, along with the Cosmic Driving Range™, for private or public events at golf facilities throughout the US.
