TGA of Southeastern Michigan Joins Forces with Pepsi Little People to encourage young people in the game of golf
Quincy, IL….Pepsi Little People’s is pleased to announce that it has teamed with TGA of Southeastern Michigan to encourage young people 5 through 14 to become involved with the game of golf.
TGA of Southeastern Michigan introduces golf at a young age through programs that provide a full and enriching experience for children while being a convenient and affordable option for parents.
Pepsi Little People’s will welcome players who have been selected to participate in the 2020 Pepsi Little People’s by TGA of Southeastern Michigan.
The tournament will celebrate its 47th year of offering competitive golf to boys and girls ages 3 through 18, coming from every state and many foreign countries, June 22-24, with play on two golf courses in Quincy, IL, USA.
“We are extremely pleased to have formed this relationship between Pepsi Little People’s and TGA of Southeastern Michigan,” said Nan Ryan, Founder and Executive Director of Pepsi Little People’s. “We look forward to hosting their players at the 2020 tournament in June.”

Players in the 2020 Pepsi Little People’s can try to qualify for the IMG Academy Junior World in San Diego, can earn Performance Stars for American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournaments, and can try to qualify for the Future Collegians World Tour, Future Champions Golf and PLAY Junior Golf Tour of Canada.
Little People’s players are ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard, GolfWeek/Sagarin Rankings and Global Junior Golf Rankings.
Monday, June 22, is practice round day for all divisions, seven for boys and seven for girls (3-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-18). Competitive rounds are played Tuesday and Wednesday, June 23-24.
The tournament proper is preceded on Sunday, Father’s Day, June 21, by the optional 9-hole Applebee’s Parent-Child event, which includes driving and putting contests and a best-dressed team event.

The Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships is an international junior golf competition for boys and girls ages 3 through 18.
