Preliminary Wave of Licensing Partners Ranges from Global Sports Brands to Emerging Golf Lifestyle Products, Including Adidas, Greyson, Peter Millar, Seamus, and 47 Brand
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla: TGL presented by SoFi, the new tech-forward, team golf league developed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports in partnership with the PGA TOUR, has announced its first wave of licensing partners to showcase the recently unveiled brands for TGL’s six teams: Atlanta Drive, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links Golf Club, Los Angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and The Bay Golf Club. TGL’s licensed merchandise program is built upon the league’s multi-year partnership with Fanatics, a global digital sports platform, which is the official operator for the league and individual teams’ e-commerce platforms and in-venue retail at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
“As we continue to build out the foundation of TGL presented by SoFi, it has been a priority for us to partner with well-respected brands to help bring our teams and league to life for golfers and sports fans. This initial roster of licensing partners, alongside Fanatics, exemplifies our commitment to quality and showcases our focus on creating a first-class experience as fans learn more about our six TGL teams,” said Maureen Murrah, vice president, Licensing, TMRW Sports Group. “Now that TGL’s team brands have been unveiled, we can continue to expand our licensing program for our teams’ communities as we ramp up towards launch in January 2025.”
The initial roster of licensing partners includes a wide selection of merchandise and price points, including apparel from Adidas, Greyson, johnnie-O, Peter Millar, Swannies, Seamus, 47 Brand, and 500 Level; headwear from Ahead, Pukka, and 47 Brand; and accessories from AGD Drinkware, Golfballs.com, Logo Brands, Seamus, and Wincraft. The merchandise assortment will expand rapidly through the end of 2024 as TGL prepares for its launch in January 2025, including a broader selection of both premium and lifestyle merchandise, collaborations, and limited-edition surprise drops in both TGL’s and each team’s web shops. CAA Sports Licensing is managing the licensing program.

TGL’s venue, SoFi Center, is an unprecedented, tech-infused arena for golf and will create an intimate and unique “greenside” fan experience with 1,500 seats wrapping around TGL’s field of play, which at nearly 100 yards long and 50 yards wide is the size of a football field.
- ScreenZone: Within TGL’s competitive matches, the integration of the league’s technology mix starts with teams teeing off from real grass tee boxes in the ScreenZone to play custom-designed, virtual holes projected onto a 3,000-square-foot screen (64’x46’), more than 20 times larger than a standard golf simulator screen (144 square feet, 16’x9’).
- GreenZone: Once teams are inside approximately 50 yards they will transition to live action and finish each hole within TGL’s GreenZone, a 22,475-square-foot short game complex that transforms between holes. The GreenZone using advanced technology to make each hole a unique challenge for the teams, including its 41-yard-wide turntable that rotates the green and three bunkers to change approach angles and nearly 600 motorized actuators embedded under the synthetic putting surface to morph its topography.
- Broadcast Enhancements: TGL’s technology mix allows for every shot to be broadcast live, teams playing within a 40-second shot clock, all players being mic’d, delivery of advanced shot data, and other broadcast enhancements.
