Commercial Partnership Extends to Featuring Samsung Outdoor LED DisplayTechnology on SoFi Center’s Main Entrance, LED Video Screens and Ribbon Boards Encircling TGL’s Tech-Infused Field of Play
Ridgefield Park, N.J., and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – TGL presented by SoFi, the new, prime-time team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports, announced Samsung as anOfficial Screen Partner. The partnership will highlight Samsung’s leadership role in delivering the highest quality screen experiences for fans, both in the venue or watching at home. Additionally, TGL’s custom-built SoFi Center will showcase Samsung’s commercial-grade LED displays to create a visually stunning experience across TGL’s season of matches beginning this January. Today’s announcement was made by David Phelps, Head of the Display Division, Samsung Electronics America; and Jason Langwell, Chief Revenue Officer, TMRW Sports and TGL presented by SoFi.
“TGL is redefining the sport of golf, combining high-energy entertainment with state-of-the-art technology to bring fans closer to the action – from screen to green,” Phelps said. “Samsung displays play a key role in amplifying excitementamong spectators of the sport, turning every TGL match into a dynamic spectacle, comparable to other arena-based, team sports events. Together, we’re helping create a new kind of golf viewing experience to captivate longtime enthusiasts while inspiring a new generation of fans.”

Additionally, Samsung LED displays will be used at SoFi Center, including:
- Marquee Outdoor Video Wall: A nearly 600-square-foot, outdoor LED video wall will greet guests to the SoFi Center above the venue’s main entrance. Product: Samsung XRB Series Outdoor Display (5,000 nit brightness, 3.9mm).
- Field of Play Video Boards: On each side of TGL’s massive projection screen used for competition will be two nearly 1,250-square-foot LED video boards. - Field of Play Ribbon Boards: TGL’s field of play will be surrounded by nearly 900 linear feet of LED ribbon boards at the field level and upper levels. - Team Benches: Indoor displays will comprise each team bench, bringing these areas to life with team branding. Product: Samsung VMR Series Indoor Display (1,000 nit brightness, 2.6mm).
