WHAT:
With two days remaining, more than 20,000 people have already registered to watch NBC Sports Group’s world premiere of The Approach, 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 15. This free streaming event for all audiences features celebrities, tour players, innovative business leaders and fellow golfers who will celebrate new and emerging ways to “consume” the sport, with a special salute to the ever-growing population of new golfers who respect golf’s traditions but may prefer to enjoy the game through non-stereotypical ways.

Personalities featured in The Approach will include: Whoop CEO Will Ahmed; CNBC Senior Markets Correspondent Dominic Chu; James Davis, comedian and host of Golf Road Trippin’; pro golfer Bryson DeChambeau, member of the PUMA Family; Dylan Dreyer, host and weather anchor for NBC’s TODAY show; Full Swing SVP Jason Fierro; pro golfer Rickie Fowler, member of the PUMA Family; Will Gray, senior golf content creator for NBC Sports EDGE; Teddy Greenstein, senior editor at PointsBet; pro golfer Jessica Korda; Macklemore, recording artist and founder of Bogey Boys; pro golfer Rory McIlroy; Bakkt CEO Gavin Michael; Conor Moore, comedian and host of The Conor Moore Show; Blair O’Neal, co-host of School of Golf and social media influencer; Paige Spiranac, PointsBet spokesperson and social media influencer; Lauren Thompson, GolfNow personality; Torrie Wilson, former WWE Diva and fitness expert. The Approach also was conceived as a special salute to the ever-growing population of new golfers and those who exist on the fringes of the game. The event welcomes everyone and will be a friendly reminder that golfers do not have to fit into a one-size-fits-all box.
