Each year, The Club Foundation receives dozens of applications from undergraduate hospitality students around the nation.

Established in 1988, the scholarship honors Joe Perdue, CCM, CHE, one of the club industry’s foremost hospitality educators. From 1986 to 2015, Perdue served as Academic Advisor for the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), where he developed the Business Management Institute (BMI) and coordinated more than 300 weeklong BMI programs for 10,000 professionals. His impact extended globally, establishing education programs in China, South Africa, Europe, and Canada.

“The Club Foundation is proud to celebrate the hard work and dedication demonstrated by these thirteen rising stars as they grow their hospitality expertise and begin to build exciting and burgeoning careers in the club industry,” said Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE, President and CEO of The Club Foundation and CMAA. “We’re excited to support their educational expenses through scholarships made possible by the incredible generosity of all those who donate to The Club Foundation.”
