Congratulations to Chad Ramey for his win this past weekend at the PGA Tour’s Corales Puntacana Championship, held at Corales Golf Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Chad Ramey, Mississippi native and long-time student of Old Waverly’s teaching pros VJ Trolio and Tim Yelverton, shot all four rounds under par, including an impressive second round of -7, 65. Chad finished strong with a round of 67 to end up one stroke ahead of the field. This is Chad’s first professional win in his first season on the PGA Tour.
Congratulations to Nanna Koerstz Madsen on her T1, 2nd place finish at the JTBC Classic, held at Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad, California! Nanna shot her first three rounds in the 60’s, coming into the final round at -14, and came within a few inches of notching back-to-back wins on the LPGA Tour.
Congratulations also to Jin Young Ko who has finished in the top six in every LPGA event since last summer. She raised her LPGA Tour record for consecutive rounds under par to 34, with a final round of -4, 68 at the JBTC Classic.
One last congratulations to Kevin Kisner on his second-place finish at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, held at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. Kevin made it to the final match against Scottie Scheffler, making this his third time in four years to make it to the finals of this tournament!
