Congratulations to Jin Young Ko on her win at the HSBC Women’s Champions tournament, held at Sentosa Golf Club – Tanjong Course in Singapore! This was a record-breaking week for Jin Young, as she has now gone 15 consecutive rounds in the 60s and had 30 consecutive rounds under par. Jin Young has also now won six of her last ten starts, this win being her 24th career victory. She birdied five of her six last holes on Sunday to finish -17, two strokes ahead of the field.
Congratulations also to Retief Goosen on his win at the PGA Tour Champions Hoag Classic tournament, held at Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach, California. Retief had a strong final day, shooting -8, 63 to shoot the low round of the day and finish four strokes ahead of the field at -15. This is Retief’s second win on the PGA Tour Champions.
One last congratulations to the winners of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour’s Sea Palms Junior Classic, held at Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Bridget Wilkie of Bluffton, South Carolina won the Overall Female Title with rounds of 69-73.
Parker Claxton of Claxton, Georgia won the Overall Male Title with rounds of 70-64.
