Corales was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2010, it is an exclusive and dramatic 18-hole course with six Caribbean Oceanside holes. The exhilarating challenge culminates playing the Devil’s Elbow, Corales’s last three holes. The Devil’s Elbow features the striking eighteenth hole with a dramatic forced carry over the cliff lined Bay of Corales. La Cana Golf Club is a favorite of golfers the world over and Golf Magazine described La Cana as “the number one course in the Caribbean” comparing it to Pebble Beach. La Cana Golf Club, like all of The Westin Puntacana Resort and Club, is also incredibly eco-friendly. We were one of the first courses in the Caribbean to use paspalum, a special type of grass seed that can be watered using salt water.
