The 2026 season’s second championship event returns to Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, California, September 4–6, with the final round airing live on Golf Channel
OCEANSIDE, Calif. — Grass League today announced that tickets are now on sale for its Summer Grind championship, the second of three major events on the 2026 Grass League season calendar. Fans can purchase tickets now at grassleague.com. The event will be held September 4–6, 2026, at Goat Hill Park in Oceanside, California.
The Summer Grind brings all eleven Grass League franchises and 110 elite players together to compete for a $175K purse in the league’s signature franchise-aggregate team format. Each franchise fields five two-person teams that battle through a 36-hole scramble, with the winning franchise determined by combined score across all of its team cards — a format built to reward roster depth and strategy over any single standout performance.
Play runs across three days at Goat Hill Park, a par-65 public course established in 1952 and set on the hills overlooking the Pacific in Oceanside, California. Friday, September 4 features a practice round and a new pro-creator invitational event, “The Showcase”; Round 1 of the Summer Ground takes place Saturday, September 5, followed by the new pro-creator hole-in-one event, “The Ace Race”; and the final round is Sunday, September 6, broadcast live on Golf Channel from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET, bringing Grass League’s fast-paced, franchise-based par-3 competition to a national television audience.
A weekend highlight, The Ace Race brings together 22 golf creators, celebrities, and special guests who tee it up alongside 22 Grass League players. Their qualifying scores from Friday’s practice round set the stakes for a high-pressure, hole-in-one shootout at the 18th hole following Round 1 on Saturday, with a $50K winner-take-all jackpot on the line, in addition to a $100K bonus for hole-in-ones.
“The Summer Grind represents everything we want the Grass League to be: elite team competition, high-stakes moments, incredible creators and an atmosphere that feels completely different from traditional golf,” said Jake Hoselton, Founder CEO of Grass League. “Goat Hill Park is the perfect setting for fans to experience it up close, and with new events like The Showcase and The Ace Race leading into Sunday’s live Golf Channel broadcast, this will be our most entertaining and ambitious championship weekend yet.”
Ticket availability is the first of several announcements planned in the lead-up to the event. In the coming weeks, Grass League will unveil franchise roster reveals, a new cash-based fantasy game, and more creator participation details for the Summer Grind. Fans and media are encouraged to follow @grassleague on Instagram for these announcements as they are released.
Additional ticketing information, the full player field, and franchise rosters will be available at grassleague.com in advance of the event.
