(FALLS CHURCH, VA) – Tin Cup Products, LLC, maker of the original patented, made-in-America golf ball marking stencils under the brand Tin Cup®, alerts customers to be vigilant about purchasing stencils from resellers and distributors. Tin Cup Products is currently taking legal action against those who are manufacturing, distributing, and selling “knock-offs” of the original Tin Cup®.
“We take pride in the fact that all Tin Cup® stencils are made in the United States of America. They always have and always will be. Over the last year, we have seen a growing number of online stores offering Tin Cup® ‘ knock-offs’ that were created in other parts of the world. We are taking legal action to stop these manufacturers and sellers. We also take pride in that original Tin Cup® branded stencils are for all golf enthusiasts, by ensuring that the designs we create—stock designs and custom designs—are appropriate, wholesome, and respectful. These unauthorized manufacturers and sellers do not hold our views about this subject and offer designs that are crude and illegal. We ask customers to reach out to me directly or through our website if they have any concerns about whether a company is an authorized reseller of Tin Cup®.” said Stephen Buckner, President of Tin Cup Products.
