Residents of the Landings to raise money for cancer research and patient care
SAVANNAH, GA –Together for a Cure is a series of community events across The Landings organized by the Landings Women’s Golf Association (LWGA). These events, including a 5K Run, court sport tournaments and a golf tournament, will be held on April 9 & April 13 this year.
The proceeds from TFAC will go back into the local community, with beneficiaries including Mercer
University School of Medicine Summer Scholars Program for cancer research and the Nurse Navigator Program at St. Joseph’s/Candler.
Since its inception 19 years ago, TFAC has raised over $1.2 million dollars in our fight against cancer in Savannah.
“I’m excited to see how TFAC continues to evolve in 2022. In addition to golf and court sports
tournaments for our members to participate in, we have added a 5K run, 1 & 2 Mile Fun Walk, and Silent
Auction that our entire community can participate in,” says Tournament Chair, Lynda Stockslager.
“TFAC reflects the charitable spirit of our membership and their desire to affect change in the lives of those stricken with this terrible disease,” says The Landings Club Executive Director, Steven Freund.
