Residents of the Landings gather together to raise money for cancer research and cancer patient care for the Savannah community.
SAVANNAH, GA –Together for a Cure, a series of Landings community events organized by the Landings Women’s Golf Association (LWGA), will be held on April 12 & April 15.
Proceeds from TFAC go directly back into the Savannah community. Beneficiaries include Mercer University School of Medicine Summer Scholars Program for cancer research, the Nurse Navigator Program at St. Joseph’s/Candler, and the Stephen D. Hollenberg Patient Assistance Fund.
Since its inception, TFAC has raised over $1.35 million dollars in our fight against cancer in Savannah.
“I’m excited to see how TFAC has evolved over 20 years. This year we will offer golf, bocce, croquet, pickleball, and tennis for our members to participate in, and a Silent Auction that our entire community can participate in”, says Tournament Chair Vicki Marino.
“TFAC reflects the charitable spirit of our membership and their desire to affect change in the lives of those stricken with this terrible disease,” says The Landings Club Executive Director, Steven Freund.
