SAN DIEGO, CA – Sunday Golf, the fastest growing golf bag manufacturer, has partnered with Tom Brady to create a signature golf bag design benefiting Youth on Course, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for youth golfers to play nearly 2,000 courses at $5 or less.
“Sports have played a major role in my career and have always been one of my biggest passions,” said Tom Brady. “Golf wasn’t the first sport I took up, but it’s a fun way to get outside and spend quality time with friends and family. That’s exactly why Sunday Golf really resonated with me and what made this collaboration so appealing. They’re making golf more enjoyable for everyone and together we’re making a difference for the next generation as our partnered bag will benefit Youth on Course and the amazing work they do.”
A Bay Area-native, Tom Brady boasts a historic career in the consumer product and sports marketing industries where he’s held management positions at Smith Optics, Adidas Eyewear, Burton Snowboards, O’Neill, Skullcandy and Logitech over a 30-year career. He also has a strong background in product design where he’s assisted in developing several product lines across eyewear, surfwear and apparel. He is currently the director of sales and marketing at RPM Training Co. and enjoys spending time with his family, action sports and golf in his free time.
Brady visited the Sunday Golf headquarters in San Diego, CA, earlier this month where he met the team and formally agreed to the proposal at a signing ceremony. The design and bag name will be unveiled at a later date.
“Tom has a one-of-a-kind career and is a massive addition to Sunday Golf,” said Ronan Galvin, Co-Founder and CEO of Sunday Golf. “We had the pleasure of spending the day with him at our offices and he personally chose to have this bag help benefit Youth on Course, a cause that we’re also very close with. While he’s an ordinary person to many, to us he’s the GOAT – Greatest of all Toms.”
Tom Brady will join golf prodigy, Patton Green to the growing list of Sunday Golf ambassadors.
Launched in 2020, Sunday Golf burst on the scene with the category-creating Loma bag, a minimalist-designed golf bag ideal for par 3 courses, walking rounds and driving range practice sessions. It weighs less than two pounds and carries six clubs.
Sunday Golf’s lineup of lightweight golf bags also includes the newly launched Loma XL and El Camino bags. Additionally, the company’s original Ryder bag is exclusively sold at Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy.
