TOP GOLF BIOMECHANIST TOM REZENDES To Appear on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive’
Accomplished Golf Channel Academy teaching professional Tom Rezendes, one of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers” in the state of California (No. 14), is scheduled to appear as a guest instructor on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
The popular daily morning show airs on Tuesday from 7-9 a.m. ET.
Rezendes, owner of Tom Rezendes’ NorCal Golf Academy, which operates two state-of-the-art indoor training facilities – Walnut Creek and Dublin, Calif. – is one of the inaugural coaches in Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities. Select GCA coaches are being invited to appear on the network’s news and instruction shows, including PGA Tour Champions Learning Center and School of Golf; Rezendes is making his third appearance on Morning Drive.
A PGA Class A Professional since 2011, Rezendes is one of the highest certified instructors in the state of California. In addition to earning a Golf Stroke Engineer Bachelor’s degree (GSEB) with The Golfing Machine, he owns certifications with Titleist Performance Institute (Certified Golf Instructor Levels 2 &3; Biomechanist Level 2; Junior Golf Coach Levels 2 & 3; Golf Mechanics Levels 2 & 3), Advanced Motion Measurement (AMM), Swing Catalyst, K-Vest, GEARS 3D Technology and Bobby Clampett’s Impact Zone Golf.
“The use of technology and the knowledge that we gain from it as golf instructors is at an all-time high,” said Rezendes. “At NorCal Golf Academy, we have all of the latest technology to help golfers improve at every level. Rezendes has been playing golf since he was 11 years old, and when he’s not teaching he enjoys competing in Northern California PGA Section events. He has also advised in the design and layout of several world-class instructional facilities around the world, including the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif., Bobby Clampett’s Impact Zone World Headquarters, local universities and K-Vest.
