OMEGA’s Newest Ambassador Tommy Fleetwood Surprises OMEGA Golf Trophy Finalists

OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA of America, surprised its guests playing in the Second Annual OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals by having their newest ambassador, Tommy Fleetwood, present awards to the winning teams competing in today’s event at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis.
The winning threesome, Rick Violette, Jason Azzarelli and T.J. Cosgrove from Orlando, Fla., was presented withspecial-edition, engraved OMEGA timepieces, a trophy and autographed drivers and pin flags, while the second and third place teams received special-edition OMEGA sailing bracelets with the PGA Championship logo etched on them, a trophy and autographed pin flags.
Thirty golfers from across the nation participated in the OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals today as part of their grand prize for winning a local qualifying tournament. The golfers will enjoy various hospitality events as part of OMEGA’s overall activation at the PGA Championship. At the completion of today’s round, Fleetwood took photos with each player then presented the winning threesome with their championship awards.
“Being my first year as an ambassador, it’s been exciting to see all of the ways OMEGA invests in the game of golf,” said Fleetwood. “The Golf Trophy event tonight shows me that they are interested in not only promoting the game for professionals, but also their customers who love the sport.”
The 2018 PGA Championship, held Aug. 6-12, marks the 100th edition of one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar. The greatest golfers in the world will all compete for the Wanamaker Trophy this week at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis.
Fleetwood has finished second at the U.S. Open, tied for 12th at The Open Championship and tied for 17th at the Masters, in this, his first year as an OMEGA Ambassador.
