Additional Certified Coach Presentations Scheduled
Peachtree Corners, Ga. – Golf coaches have until October 17 to complete their application for consideration as a 2023 U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Coach. This year marks the 20th anniversary of these awards, presented to golf coaches from around the world who have demonstrated excellence in providing youth golf instruction.
Coaches are evaluated on a wide array of criteria including their experience coaching youth golf, participation in the organization’s Certified Coach training, use of the Player Pathway, and success in developing young golfers with a focus on fun and creativity.

For those coaches wishing to become a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach, or advance to Coach 2 status, additional online interactive seminar opportunities for the remainder of 2023 have been scheduled as follows:
Certified Coach 1: Provides golf professionals and coaches knowledge about the foundational aspects of coaching young players and the six keys to coaching junior golf.

Certified Coach 2: Focuses on various learning and personality styles and the importance of having an structured curriculum focusing on both forms and skills, and how a coach can successfully implement a pathway for players to develop a love of the game.

Seminars are presented over 3 hours, with an online assessment required to complete certification. The cost for each is $149 and includes all materials and resources.
