A new study by indoor golf experts at IndoorGolfGuide has revealed the highest-rated indoor golf venues in America, based on data collected from Google Maps, to help golfers find their perfect winter retreat.
Topping the list is No.1 Golf Lounge, Virginia, with an average rating of 4.942.
This venue combines state-of-the-art simulators with a welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among golfers looking for a high-quality environment to hone their skills. No.1 Golf Lounge utilizes Golfzon simulators, renowned for their realistic feel, offering various playing surfaces such as fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
In second place is Bad Caddy Golf, Utah, with an average rating of 4.936.
Known for its sleek and modern setup, Bad Caddy Golf has built a reputation in Utah for its diverse offerings and welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. The golf simulators, which allow players to access over 100 famous courses worldwide, also offer multisport games such as soccer, hockey, and disc golf. The venue also features a bar serving local beers and gourmet pizza.
Inside Golf, North Carolina secures the third spot, with an average rating of 4.895.
This venue is designed to support players in taking their golf skills to the next level. Ranking ninth is Lynx Fitness Club, Massachusetts, with an average rating of 4.860.
Located in the heart of Back Bay, Boston, Lynx offers a unique combination of luxury gym facilities and the upscale amenities of a modern country club.
Rounding out the top ten is Barla Golf Academy, Indiana, with an average rating of 4.856.

Methodology
The top 10 indoor golf venues in the U.S. were calculated and ranked.
Google Maps was searched for “Indoor Golf [state]” and “Golf Simulator [state]” for each state, as well as “Indoor Golf Courses near [city, state]” for the top five most populous cities per state.
Each location from the searches was scraped for its review data and compiled into a single list.
For each location, the average Bayesian rating was calculated. This is a calculation that avoids bias from locations with a low number of reviews by adding 10 extra reviews of score 2.5 (average) and calculating the new rating from that. Each location was ranked by its Bayesian rating from highest to lowest, both overall and per state. The average Bayesian rating per state was also calculated and ranked from highest to lowest.

The top 10 venues per state and top 100 overall were checked manually and were not included in the rankings if they applied to any of the following criteria:
The venue is permanently closed.
The venue is a mini golf venue.
The venue is an outdoor golf course that lacks a golf simulator.
Some venues contain indoor golf facilities but lack a specific Google Maps page for it (e.g., casinos, hotels). In these cases, the page for the encompassing establishment was used.
States with fewer than five venues were not ranked in the state rankings.
