Winner of Champions Kaulig Companies Championship Uses Graphite Design Tour AD IZ-6 X-Stiff Flex Wood Shaft

July 13, 2026

Carlsbad, CA – Pro’s Choice Golf Shafts, Inc. announced today that the winner of the PGA TOUR Champions Kaulig Companies Championship event, held at Firestone Country Club in Akron, OH was playing a Graphite Design Tour AD IZ-6 X-Stiff flex wood shaft in his Titleist Driver.  The champion shot a 4-day score of 67, 67, 63, 68 for a score of 15 under par, claiming his third PGA TOUR Champions title and first PGA TOUR Champions major win.

“Congratulations to the winner of the Kaulig Companies Championship and to his first major on the PGA Tour Champions.  We are excited he plays a Graphite Design Tour AD IZ shaft in his driver”, stated Erik Boysen, Vice President of Tour Promotions, Pro’s Choice Golf Shafts, Inc.

The Graphite Design Tour AD IZ – “Into the Zone”, designed and manufactured at Graphite Design Japan’s factory headquarters, features a stealthy black appearance with white/orange accents and a sleek new matte finish.  The Tour AD IZ shafts are available in 40g R2, R1, and S flex, 50g R2, R, S, and X flex, 60g SR, S, X, and TX flex, 70g S, X, and TX flex, and 80g S and X flex.

Like all the premium Tour AD wood shafts, the Tour AD IZ utilizes premium, aerospace-quality 50t carbon-fiber materials to deliver the best-feeling, performing shaft available to golfers.

The Tour AD IZ shaft is firm in the handle, with a medium center section and a firm+ tip profile to promote a high launch angle and low/mid-ball spin rates.  The Tour AD IZ also utilizes TORAYCA® T1100G carbon-fiber pre-preg with NANOALLOY® technology in the tip section of the shaft for additional shaft stability, exceptional feel, and precise ball control.

Contact your local Golf Club Fitting professional and ask how to get your Driver or Fairway metal wood “Into the Zone” using the Tour AD IZ model of premium Graphite Design graphite golf shafts.
