Tour Edge Exotics CBX Iron-Wood the No. 1 Most Played Utility Iron on PGA Tour Champions for 6th Event in 2019
The Tour Edge Exotics CBX Iron-Wood ranked as the No. 1 Most Played Utility Iron on the PGA Tour Champions this week in the first Playoff event of the post-season.
Seven Exotics CBX Iron-Woods were in play at the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, five of which finished in the Top 25 this week.
The popular iron-wood accounted for over 30% if the utility irons in play at the all-important Playoff event, according to the Darrell Survey.
This is the 6th event this year that the CBX Iron-Wood has ranked as the No.1 Most Played Utility Iron in a PGA Tour event.
A new player this week to the CBX Iron-Wood finished 8th with it in the bag to earn the 102nd Top 10 for Tour Edge over the last 20 months on the three PGA Tours.
Tour Edge staff player Scott McCarron finished 17th at the Country Club of Virginia Monday to maintain his lead as the top ranked PGA Tour Champions player with two events to play. He currently has a $236,990 lead over 2nd place.
Tour Edge had a total 15 total clubs in play this week in play by 10 different Champions players.
