Tour Experience Golf Announces Smart Fitting Partnership with Arccos Golf

TXG to Leverage Arccos On-Course Data, Artificial Intelligence &  Strokes Gained Analysis for In-Studio & Virtual Fitting Sessions

TORONTO, June 3, 2020 – Tour Experience Golf (TXG), North America’s #2 ranked clubfitter, today announced that is has named Arccos Golf its Official On-Course Data Partner and will soon begin incorporating the Arccos Caddie system as a mandatory component of full-bag fitting services provided by Ian Fraser, TXG Founder and CEO.

As an Authorized Arccos Smart Fitter, TXG will see its staff trained and certified as experts in the Arccos Caddie performance tracking platform and the Arccos Dashboard. TXG will also retail Arccos Caddie Smart Grip and Smart Sensor kits, leverage Arccos data as part of its recently-launched virtual fitting service, and incorporate related insights into content on its popular YouTube channel.

“We want everyone who visits TXG to walk away saying ‘that was great value for the money and a worthwhile investment in my game,’” said Fraser. “Seeing what happens on the course after that fitting is an essential part of that equation which has really been missing until now. The information that Arccos provides truly connects the dots and is going to change the game.”

Via the Arccos Dashboard, TXG fitters will have direct access to rich insights and data visualizations for each client’s shot-by-shot history, Smart Distance club averages, club gapping, club usage, dispersion patterns, miss tendencies and more. The Arccos Dashboard also showcases Strokes Gained Analysis for driving, approach, chipping, bunker play and putting which will help fuel TXG fittings.

“This exciting relationship with TXG is an important step in our mission to make Smart Fitting the industry standard, one through which fitters get a contextualized picture of their clients’ games before and after each studio session,” said Sal Syed, Arccos CEO and Co-Founder. “We’re accomplishing that by building products and services that deliver tremendous value to players, fitters, coaches and equipment manufacturers.”

Golf’s first Artificial Intelligence platform, the Arccos Caddie app syncs with Arccos Caddie sensors to automatically track your shots while delivering smart distance club averages and advanced analytics. The system includes an A.I. powered GPS rangefinder and caddie advice for any hole on earth to help golfers of all skill levels make smarter decisions, improve faster and shoot lower scores. In 2019, the average Arccos Caddie user who played at least 5 rounds lowered their handicap by an incredible 4.2 strokes.
