BRENTWOOD, Tenn., – To celebrate the announcements of the final rosters for the Men’s and Women’s teams at the upcoming international team competitions, Softspikes newest Tour level spike is headed to the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup to help the competitors find their footing in what should be two highly competitive weekends of golf.
Tour Flex Pro made its debut on tour last February at the 2023 WM Phoenix Open. Since then, Tour players have continued to make the switch to Tour Flex Pro as their primary traction element to harness the performance benefits in golf’s most competitive contests. With nearly 50 percent of the field at the Fedex Cup Playoffs trusting Tour Flex Pro, it was sure to make an appearance at both the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup.
To commemorate the 2023 team events, Softspikes has created Limited Edition Tour Flex Pro for both Team USA and Team Europe. This limited release will not only bring the best in traction technology to their game but also a splash of color in an often-overlooked element of the team uniform. The spikes are also available for purchase on Softspikes.com through the end of the month while supplies last.
“Team golf season is upon us!” said Joe Henderson, President, PrideSports. “This is always a fun moment in professional golf and we’re excited to support the teams in a unique way. Team USA and Team Europe both have very talented teams so it should make for two competitive weekends that should be exciting to watch!”
Tour players change traction regularly based on course conditions, but amateur golfers rarely think about impacts on consistency and distance. To achieve optimal performance benefits, golfers should be swapping out their spikes every 15 rounds. The Tour Flex Pro can be found at Softspikes.com and major golf and sporting goods retailers nationwide.

Offering enhanced traction, added comfort and improved performance, Softspikes replacement spikes can be purchased on Softspikes.com or through major retailers, sporting goods and golf specialty stores and pro shops nationwide.
[1] Independent research conducted by The Golf Lab. Testing included seven swings on wet grass pitting Softspikes Tour Flex Pro alongside spikeless shoes. The data revealed increased horizontal impact location by 32% and vertical impact consistency by 22%. The largest changes were found in golfers with a swing speed above 110 mph. In those cases, players averaged 5.2 more yards in total distance and their dispersion reduced by an astonishing 60%. In addition, high swing speed golfers achieved 40% more accuracy and 46% more consistent distance. The research unequivocally reinforced that spiked cleats provide golfers more consistency hitting the sweet spot, improved distance and accuracy.
