BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Butterfield Bermuda Championship winner secured victory wearing Tour Flex Pro spikes, making it three consecutive FedExCup Fall wins for the model. The result also maintained replaceable spikes’ season-long record of at least one victory in every week of PGA TOUR competition.
The Bermuda success led another strong week for Softspikes, with victories at the Genesis Championship on the DP World Tour and the Stifel Charity Classic on PGA TOUR Champions adding to the brand’s worldwide success.
Wearing FootJoy shoes fitted with the limited-edition pink version of Tour Flex Pro spikes in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Bermuda champion captured his second PGA TOUR title in as many starts. Severe weather forced the tournament to be shortened to 54 holes, with the champion returning on Monday to secure the title with a par on the third playoff hole after finishing regulation at 16-under.
The victory followed wins for Tour Flex Pro at the Bank of Utah Championship and Baycurrent Classic, extending the model’s winning run to three consecutive FedExCup Fall events.
Beyond the winner, 35 of the top 43 finishers in Bermuda chose replaceable spikes over spikeless footwear — more than 81 percent of the leading finishers, underlining their continued popularity among the game’s best players.
On the DP World Tour, the Genesis Championship winner claimed his second title wearing Nike shoes fitted with Softspikes Silver Tornado spikes. The Japanese champion finished at 13-under par at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club in South Korea, continuing a season of international victories for players trusting Softspikes.
At the Stifel Charity Classic, the champion relied on Softspikes Pivix spikes to capture his first PGA TOUR Champions title. A closing 62 secured victory at Norwood Hills Country Club in the opening event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, completing the three-tour success.
“Three consecutive wins for Tour Flex Pro is a fantastic achievement and continues an outstanding season for players choosing replaceable spikes,” said Joe Henderson, President of Softspikes. “Players wearing spikes have won at least one event in every week of PGA TOUR competition this season, reflecting the trust they place in their traction. With Silver Tornado and Pivix also in the winner’s circle this week, it’s another excellent set of results across our products.”
From the PGA TOUR to the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR Champions, players continue to trust Softspikes for the traction and stability needed to perform when it matters most.
Tour players routinely change spikes based on course conditions, but many amateur golfers overlook traction’s impact on consistency and distance. For optimal performance, golfers should replace spikes every 15 rounds.
