What is a TPC classification, you may ask? It stands for Tournament Players Club (TPC) and it is a chain of public and private golf courses operated by the PGA Tour, the world’s most powerful professional Tour. Most of the courses either are or have been hosts for PGA Tour events.

The flagship Tournament Players Club for the PGA Tour is TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida which was designed in 1980 and now serves as the headquarters of the PGA Tour.
