TPT Golf Congratulates Paul Barjon on 2nd PGA Tour Canada Win
Paul Barjon earned his second PGA Tour Canada victory over the weekend at the Bayview Place DCBank Open. Using TPT Golf’s 14.5 LKP-LT Prototype shaft in his driver, Barjon fired bogey-free rounds of 63-65 to earn a one-stroke victory at the Uplands Golf Club.
“We want to congratulate Paul Barjon on his flawless performance over the weekend in British Columbia,” said TPT Golf Director Sebastian Sebayang. “Paul was one of the first players to switch to a TPT Golf shaft when we began working with professional golfers. It means a great deal to our company to see him taking giant steps forward in his career with our technology.”
To date, TPT Golf shafts have earned victories on nearly every major tour across the world: the PGA Tour, LPGA, Champions Tour, European Tour, Asian Tour, KLPGA, KPGA, JLPGA, and USGA. These victories include high-profile wins at Major Championship, World Golf Championship, and FedEx Cup Playoff events.
Trusted By No. 1s
With the victory, Barjon moves to No. 1 in the PGA Tour Canada’s Order of Merit.
TPT Golf shafts are currently being used by several of the golf’s top-ranked players, including Jin-Young Ko, the No. 1-ranked golfer in the Rolex Rankings. Jin-Young won her first major championship at the 2019 ANA Inspiration using TPT Golf 18-LKP-MT-SW shafts in her driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood.
Just this week at The Memorial Tournament, a former No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings switched to a TPT Golf 15 LKP-LT Prototype shaft and finished 13th.
The 14.5 LKP-LT Prototype and 15 LKP-LT Prototype shafts will be available to golfers across the world this summer along with the company’s much anticipated 14 MKP-LT Prototype, which has already earned four victories on the PGA and European tours.
