In a joint venture with Canadian Golf Distributor Golf Trends Inc., who for over 30 years has been one of Canada’s foremost golf equipment distributors (Tour Edge Golf and Bag Boy Golf Company, a part of the Dynamic Brands Group of Companies) has teamed up with The Traveling Golfer on a promotional campaign which has just kicked off and will run through 2021.
The promotional venture has gotten into swing in a big way with Tour Edge Golf’s largest product launch in its history, the Hot Launch 521 Series. A complete write up on the product launch is highlighted in the most recent Traveling Golfer Newsletter, and on the website. Tour Edge VP John Craig was a guest on the Traveling Golfer Podcast and just last week began a promotional contest for readers to win their choice of either an E521 or C521 Series Driver from Tour Edge plus a pair of Vigor Eyewear sunglasses with the Lumen+ lens, most ideal for golfers.
“We are extremely excited to have partnered with this awesome collection of companies. I have been playing Tour Edge clubs for nine years now and watch the constant stride the company has been making under the leadership of Founder and President David Glod” was expressed by the Traveling Golfer Claudio DeMarchi.
Spending about 50% of his time annually on the road, DeMarchi added, “I have travelled countless miles around the globe and my precious cargo has only ever travelled in Bag Boy Travel Covers.”
Traveling Golfer Podcasts have added a new dimension to the Traveling Golfer digital platform and its content is currently available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Podcast and the Traveling Golfer YouTube Channel. With 15 shows under the belt the more recent shows have grown to approximately 5,000 listeners per show.
The Traveling Golfer’s digital platform, established in 2006, currently has over 67,000 subscribers; many of whom have been so since day one. Other than the 5% of subscribers that are from outside of North America the balance is evenly split between Canada and the USA while the Podcast listeners in the early stages are 25% Canadian, 45% USA and 30% rest of the world.
Golfers and Travelers, they are, with 70% playing over 25 rounds per year with 22% playing 10 – 14 rounds. (All stats are pre COVID).
Also, pre COVID – 25% Travel four or more times on to play vacation golf.
Tour Edge and Bag Boy might be considered the anchor product lines for Golf Trends Inc. however their product lineup ranges extensively. A couple of lines that will also be featured prominently throughout the year will be Vigor Eyewear with a line of glasses specifically for golfers with the Lumen+ lenses and Australia based Sureshot GPS.
For the Canadian Golf Industry, one might consider Golf Trends for PGA Pro Shops and retailers with everything from tees, pencils, divot tools, hat clips, bags, balls, clubs, grips, towels, gloves, headcovers, weather gear, sun screen and travel covers.
If it’s GOLF, it’s GOLF TRENDS! A trusted partner for the Canadian Golf Industry.
